The exhibit board or display can be NO higher than 6 ft. x 40" long x 30"deep.  Sorry it took so long to respond but it just posted today for me.  Hope this helps!  It has been a learning experience for all of us.

Final Week

We will be putting together the Process Paper and Title page on Monday and the Annotated Bibliography on Tuesday.  Teachers will evaluate on Wednesday and parents invited to view on Thursday.

Week 3

Students should start putting their projects together.  Will finalize all parts in Week 4.  We discussed how to make exhibits look more colorful and organized.  Keep looking for information so that you can explain the action and legacy of selected topic.

Week 2

November 17-21:  Students will be introduced to bibliographies and what information about sources to keep track of.  They will begin to fill out graphic organizer on topic and continue their research.  They should NOT be worried about starting on type of projects at this point. Researching further is key to successful completion.

Please don't hesitate to call or post a question on this blog.  See you at our History Fair Day on December 4th.

Week 1

Students should be researching their individual and narrowing down the action and legacy to one specific event.  Most students have an individual picked out but have not narrowed it down to that specific event.  We teachers keep referring to this one event as a "seed" within the watermelon.  The life story of the individual is the watermelon.  Please send comments if you have questions or found something to be helpful at the NHD webpage.

National History Day link

The link to the NHD website is now working.  Open the link and click on any of the three buttons on the left side, then across the top will give you choices.  The student and parent link will give some useful information and other links to assist in the research.
